User-focus

 

  • User focus. It’s my main motivation. I’ve worked extensively on live web content, on high-traffic sites, checking the stats every day and acting rapidly on insight.
  • I work directly with users. My background as a classroom teacher makes me a very effective facilitator, I design and deliver excellent guerrilla user research. Getting out there gives me a  massive head start into understanding what users want.
  • I use video production skills to feedback. The most compelling way to show project teams and stakeholders what users want, is to get those users to explain it for themselves, on camera.
  • User insight from any source. As well as my own hand-on research I’m highly skilled at interpreting and communicating other people’s insight. I’ve worked widely with user testing labs, brand consultants, business analysts and user insight agencies.
